Job Summary
To provide exceptional care to the elderly and sick within their homes.
Age range: 18 years and above.
Location of vacancies: Manchester, St. Elizabeth, Clarendon, but will accept applicants from other parishes.
Duties/Responsibilities (Tasks may vary):
- To provide exceptional care to the elderly and sick within their homes.
Core Competencies:
- Understanding of administering medication, performing vitals check and documenting reports.
- Can do meal preparation and can understand dietary guidelines.
- Ability to perform well without any supervision.
- Caring and Passionate for the care and well being of others.
- Patience and understanding especially when dealing with senior citizens
Qualifications & Experience:
- HEART certified practical nurse or geriatric nurse
- Knowledgeable of general nursing practices and procedures
- At least one (1) year experience in a nursing/healthcare institution
- Willingness to learn and can perform other tasks from time to time
- Can operate without immediate supervision

ReplyDeleteGood day, apologies for the late reply. Wasn't aware that that there were responses. There is no general age limit, the limit on the ad is due to the format of this platform. We accept all ages as long as you are certified and or working on getting your certification. We were just able to respond to emails being sent due to some issue that needed to be resolved.
