Job Brief
We are looking for an attentive Laundry Attendant to support the functions of our establishment and the needs of our customers.
Job Location: 118 Red Hills Road, Kingston 19
Salary: 37,000 - 52,000 per month
Available shift: Three (3) days per week & six (6) days per week
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers
- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing and folding clothing and other textiles items
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures
- Performing minor sewing duties as needed
- Keep an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits
- Track maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment
- Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
- Anticipate and respond to customers' queries, concerns and complaints
- Generate invoices and daily report
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
- Able to meet physical demands such as lifting at least 50 lbs, as well as standing on your feet for up to eight (8) hours
- Must be at least twenty-five (25) years old
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Subject required Math, English
- Ability to multitask; is client focused, organized and reliable
