Required competencies:

Housekeepers (Kingston, Jamaica) - MICO University College

 Description of Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeping Staff will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and tidy environment as a daily routine ensuring the comfort and health of all staff, students and guests on the Mico University campus.

Individuals will be assigned duties in specific areas for which he/she will be held responsible.

Requirements

  • Certificate in Housekeeping would be an asset (HEART Trust).
  • The ability to read and write.
  • Training in Customer Service.
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a similar post.
  • Ability to follow instructions given by the supervisor. Good oral communication skills in order to communicate clearly.
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to listen attentively to others.
