- Supervise and engage with children during daycare hours on weekends.
- Plan and organize age-appropriate activities and playtime to stimulate children's physical, cognitive, and social development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Assist children with their personal needs, including feeding, diaper changing, and bathroom breaks.
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's activities and any concerns or incidents that may arise.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for the children.
- Adhere to all daycare policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
- Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or similar childcare setting is preferred.
- A genuine love for working with children and a strong desire to contribute to their growth and development.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and educational techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Early childhood education or related qualifications are highly valued.
- This is a part-time position specifically for weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
