We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Weekend Daycare Worker to join our team. As a Weekend Daycare Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children in our daycare facility during the weekends. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and have availability on Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage with children during daycare hours on weekends.
- Plan and organize age-appropriate activities and playtime to stimulate children's physical, cognitive, and social development.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
- Assist children with their personal needs, including feeding, diaper changing, and bathroom breaks.
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's activities and any concerns or incidents that may arise.
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere for the children.
- Adhere to all daycare policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a daycare, preschool, or similar childcare setting is preferred.
- A genuine love for working with children and a strong desire to contribute to their growth and development.
- Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and educational techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Early childhood education or related qualifications are highly valued.
Working Hours:
- This is a part-time position specifically for weekends (Saturdays and Sundays).
