CONTRACT TYPE: FIXED TERM

POSITION SUMMARY:

The DATA ANALYST is responsible for maintaining a high level of integrity of all reporting data being collected, stored and manipulated for Business Reporting and Decision making. This includes:

-    Accuracy

-    Quality

-    Timeliness of availability

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • A)  Maintenance and Support:

  1. Perform daily maintenance tasks and routine data checks on the various data interfaces.
  2. Ensure data reconciles with various source systems
  3. Ensure issues are communicated and resolved.
  4. Liaise with technical teams on new / changes to feeds and issue resolution, minimizing business impact 

  • B) Service Delivery:

  1. Address trouble tickets from the help desk as they arise within agreed SLA
  2. Ensure all tickets contain accurate categories / updates / wrap codes and resolutions.

  • C) Scripting:

  1. Generate Unix Shell scripts and PL/SQL for ETL loading into Data Warehouse.
  2. Provide assistance to Reporting analysts on optimization and increased efficiency
  3. Develops and implements efficient data extraction routines for the delivery of data.
  4. Optimizes the data environment in order to efficiently access enterprise data- manipulation – creating and managing indexes /partitions etc

  • D) DBA and System Administrator Support:

  1. Advises and consults with systems administrators and DBA on data issues such as access and storage.
  2. Creates data models to support data warehousing informational needs. 
  3. Assists and works closely with DBA for logical database design.

  • BSc. Computer Science / Information Technology and/or Oracle DBA/PL-SQL Certification
  • Strong working knowledge with at least 2 years experience in 

  1. SQL and  PL/SQL
  2. Oracle 10g and 11g, 12c databases
  3. Knowledge of UNIX Systems and shell scripting.
  4. Core database concepts:
  5. Database design
  6. Design and Understand Data Flow and Entity Relationship Diagrams
  7. Basic Data Warehousing concepts and methodologies 

Knowledge and Understanding of:

  • Data warehousing and data modeling techniques within Oracle environments.
  • Extract, Transformation, and Load (ETL) tools.

Candidate must have:

  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Time Management Skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Ability to work in a team and on projects at various levels within organization

LANGUAGE SKILLS AND REASONING ABILITY:

  • Knowledge of a second language (Spanish, French, etc) would be considered a valuable asset.

I am looking for a responsible and mild-tempered individual to nurture, teach and provide excellent child care to three (3) children (ages 4 years, 3 years and 7 months).

Schedule:
8:30 am to 7:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays, and 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sundays (Saturdays off)

Responsibilities:
  • Bathing, tidying and cleaning the children as needed
  • Teaching children based on a curriculum for 4 hours per day
  • Providing patient guidance and support for the children
  • Changing diapers, bathing baby and potty training three (3) year old
  • Light housekeeping (maintaining of living room and kitchen)
  • Ensure children's safety during indoor and outdoor activity play time
  • Follow parent's instructions on how to rear child
