Reports to: Pharmacy Manager
Summary:
We need a highly qualified, experienced pharmacist to manage our pharmacy department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmacy operations, regulations, and best practices. The candidate will also be able to provide leadership and direction to the pharmacy staff and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the pharmacy department
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of pharmacy staff
- Ensure the safety and security of all pharmacy operations
- Manage Pharmacy KPIs
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth flow of pharmacy services
- Provide medication counseling to patients and healthcare providers
- Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmaceutical developments
- Prepare monthly Reports on the Department's performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science degree in Pharmacy
- Current license to practice pharmacy in Jamaica
- Three (3) to five (5) years of leadership experience as a pharmacist
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
