The Gardener's responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • Monitoring the health of all plants and greenscapes 
  • Watering and feeding plants
  • Trimming trees and shrubs
  • Fertilizing and mowing lawns
  • Weeding gardens and keeping green spaces and walkways clear of debris and litter

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Must know how to use and maintain landscaping equipment which includes lawn mowers, trimmers and fertilizers, while following health and safety protocols and policies

  • Experience as a gardener
  • Familiarity with landscaping design
  • Knowledge of regional plant life
  • Knowledge of local pests and how to eliminate them

Summary:
Under the general direction of the Supervisory Hospital Attendant/Hospital Administrator, the Hospital
Attendant will be required to:

Required Qualification & Experience:
  • Complete school to grade 9 level
  • Be physically fit and able to bend, stand and lift

Specific Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of excellent customer service delivery

Key responsibilities will include but not limited:
