Live-in Nanny (St. Catherine, Jamaica)

A live-in nanny is needed in the Innswood area of Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

Duties:

The nanny will perform the following duties to fulfill the care for toddler:

  • Monitor and care for the toddler including but not limited to: feeding, changing, bathing, etc
  • Washing and ironing
  • Cooking meals
  • Cleaning of household areas and maintaining toddler's items such as keeping toys, etc clean
  • Execution of educational activities such as reading, development activities, etc

Core Competencies:

  • Ability to cook
  • Prior experience working with toddlers
  • Ability to work on weekends and overtime if requested
  • Excellent communication skills
  • First aid training would be an asset

(Salary range $1,711,060 - $2,301,186 per annum and any applicable allowances). Under the supervision of the Regional Mental Health Officer, the Data Entry Clerk will provide administrative support to the Mental Health Unit.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) subjects at CSEC/GCE O' Level inclusive of English Language and Mathematics
  • Certification in Information Technology/Computer Science
  • Minimum two (2) years’ work experience in the field of data management

Required Skills & Specialized Techniques:

  • Assisting with the planning and execution of meetings, conferences & outreach activities by the Mental Health Unit.
  • Assisting in the compilation of necessary mental health related data for reports (monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc).
  • Assisting with the preparation of data for presentations.
  • Creating and continuously updating mental health data.
  • Preparing the necessary documentation for mental health educational and promotional activities.
  • Maintaining an efficient record management system.
  • Assisting in field investigations to verify and gather data for abstractions from the different facilities.
  • Updating electronic and manual files following outreach interventions/activities.
  • Assisting with the compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Attending and taking minutes for relevant Mental Health meetings.
  • Collating and compiling relevant data, reports and other documents for monitoring of quality assurance and performance.
  • Assisting with organizing of workshops and seminars.
