The Jamaica Bauxite Institute seeks to engage a qualified and experienced individual for the following position:
Secretary (HR Department) level 3
- Upkeep of various files created in the department
- Timely preparation and recording of documents being prepared for Administration, staff or external entities
- Collection of all documents submitted to the Human Resource Department
- Dissemination of documents from the Human Resource Department to staff members
- Preparation of status letters
- Initial preparation of contracts
- Preparation of interview files
- Calculation and initial processing of Departmental and Sick leave applications
- Maintenance of staff leave entitlement information
- Initiating the preparation of new staff appointment documents in collaboration with the Human Resource Manager
- Maintenance of up-to-date staff list
- Photocopying for the department
- At least four (4) CXC/GCEs including English and Mathematics plus Secretarial training at a minimum grade of level one (1)
