Job Summary
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
- Registration of various medical devices and pharmaceuticals as required by the Ministry of Health and Wellness
- Liaise with overseas suppliers as it relates to registering products and compliance with regulatory directives
- Monitoring the expiry dates of all pharmaceutical products
- Assisting with the Company's product research and development projects
- Assisting with the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures for a distribution pharmacy
- Assisting with product training, detailing and workshops
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid license from the Pharmacy Council of Jamaica
- Must be an active member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Jamaica
- Two (2) years working experience as a Pharmacist
- Own a reliable motor vehicle
- Knowledge of new distribution pharmacy registration
- Experience working at a distribution pharmacy would be an asset
- Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) and work within tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
