Salary range: $2,254,290 - $2,679,643 a year and any allowances attached to the post:
Summary of Duties:
Under the general direction of the Inspector of Poor, the incumbent is responsible for managing the operation of the infirmary, including Nursing Services and ensuring the residents physical, mental and social well being in accordance with various Laws, Acts and Regulations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:
- BSc in Nursing from a recognized tertiary institution
- Registration with the Nursing Council of Jamaica
- At least seven (7) years clinical practice, at least two (2) years in a managerial/supervisory position
- Experience working with the elderly population would be an asset
- Possession of the relevant Certificate/Diploma from the Board of Supervision would be an asset. However the diploma is a requirement for appointment
