Sessional Nurse (St. Catherine, Jamaica) - Jamaica Broilers Group of Jamaica

Applications are invited for the position of Sessional Nurse.

To efficiently manage the health centre on a relief basis at a food processing facility, to assist in minimizing occupational health problems, safety hazards and promoting wellness and good housekeeping.

The ideal candidate should be a Registered Nurse and a Certified Midwife and should possess the following:

• Advanced nursing education from the University of the West Indies or equivalent institution
• At least five (5) years experience in a related field, with knowledge of various diseases, family planning and counseling skills
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in conducting training sessions
• Training in critical care or emergency management would be a distinct asset
• Basic Life Support training as well as experience in a manufacturing environment would be an asset
• A valid food handler's card
• Ability to work on week days (Mondays - Fridays)
• A reliable motor vehicle
