Child Care/Day Care Worker (St. Elizabeth, Jamaica) - Little Kingdom Daycare and Aftercare

Location: South St. Elizabeth

Description:

• Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
• Prepare meals and organize meal times and snacks for children
• Help children keep good hygiene
• Change the diapers of infants and toddlers
• Organize activities or implement a curriculum that allows children to learn about the world and explore interests
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure that the children have enough physical activities, rest and playtime
• Watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in children and bring the problems to the attention of parents
• Keeps record of children's progress, routine and interests

Attributes required:

• Must love children
• Must live in close proximity to day care (business is located close to JISCO Alpart)
• Non-smoker
• Food handler's permit
• Child care certificate
• CPR training would be an asset
• At least two (2) years in the same position or similar
• Must be able to take care of 10 kids including infants
• Available for work schedule - 7:00 am to 7:00 pm
• Clear medical report
• Immunization card
• Three (3) references: 1 character, 2 from previous employer/and pastor
• Ages 25 years to 50 years old
