ECC invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following posts:

1. College Nurse (Level 2)
2. Lecturer/Nurse Educator (St. Thomas)

College Nurse (Level 2)

Role and Core Functions include:-

• Providing general medical/first aid assistance to staff and students of the College as needed
• Giving advice to staff and students on matters relating to health and wellness
• Assessing, planning, evaluating and executing the healthcare programme of the College
• Keeping students health records confidential
• Making referrals to dentists, ophthalmologist, and other health professionals as needed
• Conducting health screening to prevent epidemics

Required Qualifications and Experiences:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• At least three (3) years experience in clinical care
• Current registration with the Nursing Council of Jamaica
• Training in midwifery will be an asset

Required Skills and Competency:

• Excellent customer service skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Flexibility and willingness to work on shift
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite applications

Lecturer/Nurse Educator (St. Thomas)

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related d acopline
• Must be Registered General Nurse
• Must have current license to practice nursing in Jamaica
• Trained Teacher's certification
• At least one (1) recognized post RN certification
• Training and clinical practice in Midwifery will be an asset
