Phlebotomist (St. Ann, Jamaica)

A dynamic medical laboratory seeks experienced candidates from St. Ann to fill the following position:

Phlebotomist

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Phlebotomist who has a successful track record of: 

• Obtaining blood specimen
• Knowledge of laboratory procedures and equipment
• Accessioning
• Verifying specimens and specimen requirements and skills in using laboratory information system

Qualifications:

• Completion of approved phlebotomy training course or equivalent
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a patient service technician/phlebotomist
• Must have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated
• Fast, accurate keyboard (typing) skills would be an asset
