Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position of Phlebotomist.
We are looking for persons who can work on a flexible work plan - fulltime and part-time positions are available.
Vacancies exist in the North Coast as well as South Coast branches.
Qualifications:
- Trained and certified in Phlebotomy from a recognized institution
- Experience collecting COVID Nasal swabs an asset
- Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience as a customer service rep in a medical facility
- Practical nursing training or experience an asset
Knowledge:
- At least two (3) to three (3) years experience in blood taking
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Excellent telephone techniques and customer service skills
- Skill in understanding and following written and oral instructions
- Skill in dealing with the public
