Phlebotomists (Jamaica) - Central Medical Laboratories

 Suitably qualified applicants are invited to apply for the position of Phlebotomist.

We are looking for persons who can work on a flexible work plan - fulltime and part-time positions are available.

Vacancies exist in the North Coast as well as South Coast branches.

Qualifications:

  • Trained and certified in Phlebotomy from a recognized institution
  • Experience collecting COVID Nasal swabs an asset
  • Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience as a customer service rep in a medical facility 
  • Practical nursing training or experience an asset
Knowledge:
  • At least two (3) to three (3) years experience in blood taking
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Excellent telephone techniques and customer service skills
  • Skill in understanding and following written and oral instructions
  • Skill in dealing with the public
