Special assisted living care for the elderly; short and long-term stay for residents. We provide a wide range of services with 24-hr care for pensioners, and persons who are no longer able to take care of daily living matters for themselves.

Two (2) Certified Practical Nursing positions are now open.

The incumbents will be responsible for all the residents on the property. Nurses must be able to work independently as well as with a team, communicating in a clear and constructive manner to members of the team and management, administer medication, do daily vitals, writing daily reports, prepping meals, assist with laundry and maintain the cleanliness of the facility.

Village Eldercare Golden Age provides 24-hr care and as such we have a specialized team that operates on a live-in system rather than shifts. 

Requirements:

  • Must have completed certificate/diploma in Practical Nursing
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience
  • Must be able to work flexible hours
  • Must be able to work in a clean and organized way
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet daily tasks
  • Live close to St. James (may be called upon in an emergency)

The incumbent is accessed for one (1) month training at $46,000, and a probationary period of three (3) months, based on performance, you will then be appraised for a 6 months contract. 

Contract: $576,000 - $720,000 per annum

Location: Rhyne Park Avenue, Rose Hall, St. James, Jamaica, W.I.
