Nanny needed for toddler in Kingston, Jamaica

Nanny is needed to provide excellent childcare for five (5) years old.

Location: Kingston – Washington Boulevard, Kingston 20

Work Schedule: 11 AM through to 7:00 PM (Flexible start time)

Responsibilities:

• Organize creative activities and educational games.

• Help child wash-up and take baths

• Instill appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other and helping with chores

• Accommodate driver to pick up child from school (occasionally)

• Keep play area organized and germs free

• Assist child with homework

• Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities

• Take care of children in case of injury or illness

• Most basic housekeeping duties for child.

• Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development

• And more

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Nanny or Babysitter (Care Provider)

• Excellent understanding of child development

• Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children

• A pleasant and patient personality

• Training in child development/Babysitting/Care Provider (preferably but not a must)

• First aid certification is a plus

Benefit

• Weekly Pay – $12,500 (negotiable after a year)

• Five (5) day-work week – Monday through Friday

• Five (5) days paid vacation (After the first 10 months or at the discretion of the employer)

• Five (5) days paid sick leave (After the first 6 months or at the discretion of the employer)

• Two (2) days paid personal days (increase after the first year)
