Nurse Educator/Lecturer   

 Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a related discipline
• Must be a Registered General Nurse
• Must have a current license to practice Nursing in Jamaica
• Trained Teacher's certification
• At least one (1) recognized post RN certification
• Training and clinical practice in Midwifery will be an asset

Ideal candidates should:

• Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to plan, evaluate, coordinate and implement the Nursing Education Programme using interdisciplinary approach with other departments, government agencies, colleges, clientele groups, the health community and related professional organizations

College Nurse - Level 2 

Role & Core Functions include:

• Providing general medical/first aid assistance to staff and students of the College as needed
• Giving advice to staff and students on matters relating to health and wellness
• Assessing, planning, evaluating and executing the healthcare programme of the College
• Keeping students health records confidential
• Making referrals to Dentists, Ophalthalmologists, and other health professionals as needed
• Conducting health screening to prevent epidemics

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• At least three (3) years experience in clinical care
• Current registration with the Nursing Council of Jamaica
• Training in Midwifery will be an asset
