Nursing Administrator (Kingston, Jamaica) - Josephine Glasspole Convalescence Centre & Visiting Nursing Home (Hyacinth Lightbourne Memorial Association

 Hyacinth Lightbourne Memorial Association seeks a suitably qualified individual to manage its Josephine Glasspole Convalescence Centre and Visiting Nursing Service. 

The ideal candidate would most likely:

• Be a Registered Nurse;
• Possess a current licence from the Nursing Council of Jamaica;
• Have a Bachelors Degree or certificate in General Nursing;
• Have a minimum of five years supervisory experience in a hospital or senior-care nursing facility;
• Have managed teams of nurses, practical nurses, administrative and support staff;
• Be accustomed to interacting with the leadership of health care facilities;
• Be comfortable reporting to and advising a board of directors and implementing board decisions;
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
• Be willing to take responsibility for effective performance of the organization, including expansion into new ventures. 

Note: 

Tertiary level training in business management would be an asset.
