Ports Security Corps Now Hiring! - Security Officers (Kingston, Falmouth & Montego Bay)


The Ports Security Corps Limited (R.S.O.), an agency of the Ministry of Transport and Works, incorporated to safeguard Jamaica's Airports and Seaports. 

Security Supervisors (Falmouth, Kingston & Montego Bay)

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of four (4) subjects which must include English Language at GCE/CXC level or equivalent 
  • Aviation/MARSEC trained
  • Certificate in Supervisory Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution (an asset)
  • Possess good leadership qualities
  • In good physical and mental health
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • At least three (3) years experience as a Supervisor in a security establishment


Security Officers for Kingston, Falmouth & Montego Bay

Summary 

Reporting to the location Managers/Senior Supervisors. the Security Officers are required to screen all clients and vehicles to ensure that safety and security is maintained in keeping with the Security Operation Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification: Three (3) subjects including English Language
  • School leaving certificate
  • Possess a clean police record
  • Be able to pass a medical and physical examination
  • Willing to work on a shift, weekends and public holidays
  • Must be between the ages of 18 - 45 years (males and females)
  • Possess good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Valid identification - passport, national/voter's ID, driver's license
