Position available: Special needs Caregiver (Shadow)

A private institution in Discovery Bay, St. Ann is seeking to hire Caregivers. Only applicants in St. Ann.

Caregivers should have Level 2 certification.

Retired teachers are also invited to apply.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assisting teachers in meeting the educational needs of the assigned student(s).Accessing classrooms, writing, and attending to accidents related to body waste
• Assist and Monitor students in various areas (e.g. classroom management, devotional exercise, school projects, etc)
• Provide support for students during lunch and recess periods
• Assist in keeping the student's environment clean. Particularly bathroom areas assigned for student use

• Possess a food handlers permit and police record or be willing to acquire one within the probation period.
