Concierge Officer (Kingston, Jamaica) - Tony Thwaites Wing (Univ. Hospital of the West Indies)

UHWI Private Wing, Tony Thwaites Wing, is seeking a dynamic, outgoing, and personable candidate to fill the full-time position of Concierge Officer. The Concierge Officer will be responsible for coordinating the customer service and concierge needs of patients and their family members, doctors and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating concierge services for local and international patients and their family members 
• Acting as a central point of contact for Admitting Consultants and coordinating concierge needs
• Acting as a liaison between the administrative and nursing staff regarding customer service needs of patients and families
• Addressing the customer service needs of patients and family members, doctors and visitors

Minimum Required Education & Experience:

• A minimum of two (2) years working experience as a customer service provider in a similar environment e.g. hospital/health care services, hospitality industry, health insurance provider
• Associate degree in Marketing, Business or Healthcare Administration
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications
• Certified training or NVQ/CVQ equivalent in customer service would be preferred
