School Nurse 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Certification as registered nurse or other similar qualifications
  • Current nursing licences/registration with NCJ
  • At least one (1) year experience (mental health experience is a plus)

Applicants should be able to:
  • Provide professional healthcare to staff ans students
  • Develop health plan for students
  • Carry out health assessments and screening
  • Administer medication
  • Complete appropriate reports and ensure accurate records are maintained
  • Maintain inventory of appropriate supplies and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with minimum health laws and requirements
  • Lift up 50 lbs and stand for prolonged periods of time
