Job Description:

Majestic Laundromat, a leading laundry service provider, is urgently seeking a skilled Presser to join our team. 

As a Presser, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality, professionally pressed garments. This is a volume based position that requires exceptional ironing skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain press equipment to ensure efficient and effective garment pressing
• Iron and press various types of garments, including shirts, pants, dresses, and other clothing
• Inspect garments to identify any stains, damages, or quality issues before pressing
• Apply appropriate ironing techniques and settings based on fabric type, ensuring the garment is wrinkle-free and well-pressed
• Follow specific instructions provided by customers such as using specific starch levels or handling delicate fabrics
• Ensure proper handling and care of garments to prevent damage or loss
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper storage of equipment and supplies
• Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure an safe working environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Presser in a professional setting is essential
• Strong knowledge of different fabric types and their corresponding ironing requirements
• Ability to operate and maintain press equipment effectively
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and handle repetitive tasks
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work during weekdays, weekends and holidays, as required

• Laundry Attendant
