 Registered Nurse Hiring Criteria

Job Description:

The registered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to employees. Provides direct and indirect patient care as well as collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide appropriate care in accordance with the Nursing Council of Jamaica standards of care.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN Preferred
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• Current additional certifications is an asset
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing from Nursing Council of Jamaica
• Work experience: At least 6 months RN experience

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and report
• Administering medications to patients and monitoring them
• Always look for ways to improve the patient experience
• Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Use of critical and analytical skills to achieve optimal Patient Care
• Communicate clearly and openly
• Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment
