Live-out helper (Kingston, Jamaca)

Full-time; permanent

A family of four (4) needs helper to assist with taking care of home and children when they get home from school. Duties include house chores - laundry, cooking, cleaning, ironing, etc

Duties/Responsibilities/Functions of Position:

Housekeeping

  • Keeping house clean - sweeping, mopping, dusting: bathrooms, other rooms, kitchen etc
  • Laundry for family including ironing
  • Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization of home

Cooking
  • Helping to prepare meals as required
  • Washing dishes etc and keep kitchen clean
Childcare
  • Assist with childcare after children get home from school especially 4 year old- feed, bath etc.
Core Competencies (Skills and Abilities the position requires)
  • Reliable and honest
  • Get to work on time
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • High standard of cleanliness
Qualifications & Education
  • Must be able to read and write
  • Good communication skills to understand instructions etc
Knowledge & Experience
  • Prior experience with performing similar role
  • Experience with taking care of children
Age range:
  • 45 to 50 years old
Salary: $19,000 weekly.
