Apartment Helper (St. Ann, Jamaica) - China Harbour Engineering Company

We're seeking a trustworthy, energetic and caring Apartment Helper. This position is responsible for providing general domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing and other household errands that are essential to the proper maintenance of apartments.

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (Maammee River, St. Ann) is seeking to recruit a trustworthy, energetic and caring Apartment Helper.

Description:

• Perform a variety of domestic tasks to ensure the general cleanliness of all apartments.
• Responsibilities & duties include but are not limited to:
• Ensure the apartments are kept clean and organised
• Keep on top of laundry and ironing
• Report any faults that may arise
• Oversee the work of tradesmen who perform repair and maintenance work
• Cleaning of bedrooms, dining rooms, bathrooms and kitchen
• Inventory keeping of cleaning items
• Preparing list of cleaning items to be purchased
• Assisting the chef in the kitchen

Requirements:

• HEART Trust NTA Housekeeping course or related discipline
• Over five (5) years working experience in similar capacity
• Energetic and ambitious
• Excellent time management
• Keen attention to details
• Must demonstrate high levels of integrity and trustworthiness
• Ability to spot what needs to be done
