Assistant Store Manager - Montego Bay - Ping's Fabrics

Ping's Fabric seeks to fill the vacant position of Assistant Store Manager at our Montego Bay branch. 

The Incumbent should fit the following profile:

Main Functions:

Assist with and overseas, administrative and management duties on a day-to-day basis within the Store. Ensure goals, targets and objectives given for location are achieved or surpassed. Ensure excellent customer service is maintained by all employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with manager to ensure customers' needs are met
  • Assist with the preparation of rosters for employees
  • Establish rapport with potential and actual customers
  • Assist with sales promotion, display plans, esthetics of store
  • Compliance of legal requirements
  • Contributes to team efforts
  • Assist with lodgements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Disciplined, honest, reliable, results driven
  • Ability to effectively communicate (internally and externally)
  • Customer focused and has a passion for sales
  • Understands the importance of establishing business relationship
  • Staffing knowledge, ability to supervise, train and mentor staff
  • Ability to relate to management, staff, clients, outside correspondences professionally
