ARC Manufacturing Limited, a leading manufacturer and distributor of building materials in Jamaica and the region, seeks to identify a suitable candidate for the position of Operations Manager for the ARC Montego Bay Branch.
Job Scope
Reporting to the Senior Manager of ARC Montego Bay, primary responsibilities of the Operations Manager are:
- Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategic policies and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
- Manages and coordinates personnel and procedures used to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of manufactured and traded building materials
- Develops and implements training programs for staff that promotes and encourages top performance and high morale
- Provides out of stock report to sales and procurement department
- Maintains metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
Profile of Candidate:
- BSc in Business Administration or Logistics Management or related discipline
- At least three (3) years experience in Logistics Management or a similar position
- Must be able to plan effectively and deal with unexpected changes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
