Eyeland Eyewear Limited is seeking the services of Ophthalmologists & Optometrists to join our team of eye care professionals island-wide.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Certification from a recognized institution
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working as a practicing Optometrists or Ophthalmologist
- Solid working knowledge of ophthalmic equipment needed to conduct examinations
- Experience prescribing and fitting corrective lenses
- Medical knowledge of testing and treatment for eye injuries and diseases
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform standard eye exams for patients on a daily basis
- Check for evidence of disease, injury or other problems impacting vision
- Provide prescriptions for corrective lenses as needed
- Prescribe medication when needed
- Utilize necessary equipment properly, ensuring it is in good working condition
- Record tests, prescription and treatment for each patient
