The Golden Age Home, a facility with over 430 residents, is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of:
Registered Nurse (HPC/RN 1)
Reporting to the Matron/Nursing Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for direct and indirect nursing care and treatment of residents to facilitate the provision of optimum health care in keeping with the objectives of the Home; working closely with the medical team, the social worker and the other auxiliary services, ensures that optimum benefits in the area of curative and preventative medicine, mental health and good hygiene are effected and sustained.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Registered with the Nursing Council of Jamaica
- Certificate in Caring for the Elderly
- Five (5) years work experience as a Registered Nurse
- Practical experience in Basic Computer Applications
- Formal training in psychiatric and experience working with the elderly population will be an asset
Salary: $2,998,419 - $3,564,176 per annum
Tailoring allowance: $101,517.00 per annum
Standby allowance: $541,008.00 per annum
