Job Scope

Reporting to the Senior Manager of ARC Montego Bay, primary responsibilities of the Operations Manager are: 

• Contributes to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategic policies and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
• Manages and coordinates personnel and procedures used to ensure the efficient receipt, storage and distribution of manufactured and traded building materials
• Develops and implements training programs for staff that promotes and encourages top performance and high morale 
• Provides out of stock report to sales and procurement department
• Maintains metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements

Profile of Candidate:

• BSc in Business Administration or Logistics Management or related discipline
• At least three (3) years experience in Logistics Management or a similar position
• Must be able to plan effectively and deal with unexpected changes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
