Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the following posts in the St. Ann Municipal Corporation:
- Matron (HPC/RN5) - St. Ann Infirmary - Salary Scale: $2,254,290 - $2,679,643
- Assistant Matron (HPC/RN4) - St. Ann Infirmary - Salary Scale: $1,944,796 - $2,311,751
- Exercise direct supervision of the work done by Patient Care Assistants, Nurse Aides, Cleaners and Cooks
- Exercise direct supervision of Nursing Care
- Assist with administrative duties
- Implement Occupational Therapy under the direction of the Physiotherapist
- Assist in maintaining discipline of residents and staff
- Assist in ensuring safety on wards and environment
- Assist in In-service training exercise
- To assume duties of the Matron in her absence
- BSc in Nursing from a recognized tertiary institution
- Registration with Nursing Council of Jamaica
- At least three (3) years of clinical practice
- Possession of relevant certificate/diploma from Board of Supervision would be an asset. However, the diploma is a requirement for appointment
