Job Summary

We are looking for a professional Housekeeper able to attend to an Airbnb vacation villa, with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to create a clean and orderly environment for our guests that will become a critical factor in maintaining and strengthening our reputation and five (5) star rating.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
• Notify superiors of any damages, repairs or replacements
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
• Monitoring cleaning supplies  and ordering as needed 
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety, as outlined by Airbnb guidelines 
• Making beds and changing linens
• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs
• Cleaning and sanitising toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops and sinks
• Sorting, washing, loading and unloading laundry
• Stock bathrooms with clean linen, toiletries and other supplies
• Cleaning windows, mirrors and other glass surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper; experience in the hotel industry an asset
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Customer service oriented with a high level of integrity
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality and having keen attention to detail
