Practical Nurse (St. Catherine, Jamaica) - Oasis Imaging Centre

Job Summary:

Duties & Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to: Assist in medical procedures; assist Radiographers; Change dressings and bandages; administering of medications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operating and monitoring medical equipment
• Assisting in medical procedures as needed
• Assisting Radiographers
• Changing dressings and bandages
• Administering of medications where necessary
• Performing a variety of office responsibilities to include: answers phones, assisting in-person patients with queries and updating patient records
• Assist with front desk duties which include: answers phones, assisting in-person patients with queries and updating patient records

Skills Required

• Previous Practical Nurse work experience ( At least 2-3 years)
• Certification as a Practical Nurse
• Must be willing to treat patients well in high-stress situations

Special Requirements 

• Must be willing to work flexible hours such as night shifts and/or weekends
