The Best Dressed Division of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited, is seeking a reliable, organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an Office Attendant. The successful candidate will work with the Processing Plant's Human Resources and Administration team to maintain the cleanliness, organization and overall efficiency of offices and common areas at our facilities, located in Spring Village, St. Catherine.
As such, the ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Sound knowledge of food service procedures and dining etiquette
- Good knowledge of inventory management to oversee and restock supplies such as stationery, coffee and other consumables, as needed
- Knowledge of office procedures to assist the team with basic administrative duties
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and service excellence
- Ability to follow instructions and execute tasks with minimum supervision
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues across the departments to ensure a seamless work environment
- Flexibility in handling diverse tasks and responsibilities and meeting deadlines
- Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities, while maintaining the capacity to work under pressure
- Willing to work on a contractual basis
- A valid food handler's permit
- A high school diploma along with passes in at least three (3) CXC/CSEC subjects including Mathematics and English Language
- A HEART Trust/NSTA certification would be an asset
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in a similar role
